REEF

The Robertson Education Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting new and innovative programs of investment in education. The foundation is a resource for higher education students that desire alternative financing to financial aid and loans to pay for educational expenses.

Founded by Michael Robertson, REEF began its Education Investment program in the Fall 2002 at the University of California, San Diego campus with an initial investment of $3 million. Repayments of these investments post-graduation by students will enable more opportunity for the future generations of the University of California System. REEF strives to be a leader in the creation of similar programs at educational institutions around the country, and as well as generate significant interest nationally as an alternative means towards educational contributions to alumni giving programs.
